This is a typical long rugby luncheon with the added attraction of the pubic launch of the Liverpool Plains Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway project. The luncheon will be a three-course affair with a selection of beverages as part of the package. Tickets cost $125 per guest, the tables seat eight guests each.
A comedian will entertain you between courses, and Vintage Wallabies Greg Cornelsen and David Carter will exchange rugby views, including the upcoming Rugby World Cup with former All Black Grant Batty. Some ancient video footage will also be shown of the three speakers, who will no doubt be mumbling “back in the days when we could run …” There will be an auction and a lucky table draw with 8 tickets to a NSW Super Rugby match in Sydney in 2020.
